A Couple things about me

I’m Lucien, a recent graduate from Grinnell College in English. I’m a writer that fell in love with the art of storytelling as soon as I was able to pick up a book. As an avid reader, especially as a child, I always had a book on me to transport me into a different life and a different world. When I got to high school, I stopped writing as much to pursue theatre which allowed me to explore other mediums of storytelling that I still enjoy. But in college, I rediscovered my love for reading and writing and have committed myself to the craft of fiction and storytelling through writing.

I’ve been a voracious journaler for as long as I can remember. And from that, I feel as if I’ve been writing for a long time. Through my education and personal projects, I’ve worked to hone my craft and play with language in order to constantly improve my writing.
